family business since 1978
Brian & Kathleen Congdon have
been residents
of the wild west coast for over 30 years.
They started Subtidal Adventures in 1978
as a diving charter operation, but were soon
expanding into the whale watching and nature tour business.
Private charter services are also
requested frequently for those who want to fashion
their own experience in the emerald waters of Barkley Sound.
A former Park Warden of Pacific
Rim National Park,
Brian is very knowledgeable about the natural
and cultural history of the area.
Brian is an active member of the Coast Guard
auxiliary and has extensive navigational skills.

is our ticket office?
Just beyond the entrance to the
village of Ucluelet
watch for a large cedar building with a blue roof on the right
had side
of the main road into town (1950 Peninsula Road, West Ucluelet
Mall).
